S`UDGET FEARING
September 8, 1972_
Pursuant to the provisions of the City. Charter of Richfield, the city council held
a special session on Friday, September 8, 1972 at 5:00 p.ma in~the Cou~icil .Chambers
of the pity hall, 6700 Portland Avenue ® to consider the 1973 proposed budget.
The meeting was called t® ®rd®r by Mayor Loren Law®
Present: Councilmen o Anderson, Jacobsen, Kene~ley, Luettinger® Mayor Lawa
City Managers Wayne S. Rurggraaff, and Finance Director Th®rnas
Doran .
Absent: 1lTone .
The City Manager gave an over®all review of the total budget document, o~plaini
the major chaA~ges between the 1972 revised budget requirements as compared with the
1973 request.
A general discussion was held with the manager during his presentation. .
The following persons appeared in interests .and were given a 1973 budget book,
Earl I~. Maffetts 6745 I~arriet Avenue
Larry Woznicska , 6744 Wentworth Avenue
Frank P. Vinella a 6732 Pillsbury Avenue

The meeting adjourned at 7:00 p. m. and the next budget hearing was scheduled for
7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 14th.
