MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING
August 22, 1972
(District No. 2 - Area No. 1)
The Council of the City of Richfield met in special session at the city
hall council chambers, at 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, August 22, 1972, for a hearing
to consider 1973 permanent bituminous streets, concrete curbs and gutter, and
ornamental street lights in Area No, 1, District No. 2, (That area lying east
of 12th Avenue, south of 66th Street, west of Trunk Highway 36, and north of
69th Street),

Presence Anderson, Jacobsen, Luettinger and Law. Absent- ~ K.enealey.
Wayne Burggraaff, city manager, gave a slide presentation on permanent street
construction and ornamental street lighting, and also provided background infor-
mation on this project.,.City Project No, 650.
R. J. Huston, consulting engineer from Orr-Schelen-Mayeron and Associates,
reviewed the planning proposed for this area and explained basic information
regarding the preliminary engineer's report for this permanent street constructs®n
project.
Gerald W. Anderson, 6621 15th Avenue, and LeRoy Dallager, 6801 18th Avenue,
appeared in interest and asked questions.
Council decision for District No, 2 will be made at the hearing scheduled for
August 24, 1972.
Meeting adjourned at 8030 p.m.
