2, Liquor License A¢platcation for Left Guard9 Ix~c.
It being 7:00 p.m. Mayor Law called for the hearing on the liquor license
application for Left Guard Restaurant9 at 78th Street and Nic®llet Avenue,
Wm. Fox9 Attorney for app.licant9 appeared to answer specific questions regarding
application for an on=dale liquor license requested by Left Guard9 Inc,
Fredrick ~.'taurstons President for Left Guard9 Inco9 spoke in regard to completion
of facility before opening.
Motion by Anderson9 seconded by Luettinger9 that the hearing be closed9 and that
Left Guard Restaurant be granted their liquor licc~nse9 sub~ec~t tmi the following

3. Ordinance Amendment Relating to Licensing of Vehicles Used in Garbage and Refuse
Hauling. Bill No. 1972-12.
Bill No. 1972m12, t1AYnendment to Chapter VT, Section 6.06, Subdivision 10, of the
Ordinance Code of the City of Richfield, Minnesota", relating to the licensing of
vehicles used in garbage and refuse hauling, was read, the same being on file in the
office of the City Clerk.. (Cm9410).
Motion by Anderson, seconded by Jacobsen, that the hearing on this proposed
amendment be closed and that this constitute a second reading of Bill No. 1972-12;
that it be spread in the ordinance book; that it be published in the official news-
paper and that it be made a part of these minutes.
Poll of votes: Ayes - Anderson, Jacobsen, Kenealey, Luettinger and Law. Naves - None.
Absent - none. Carried.
4. Transitory Ordinance No; 16.14 m Providing for Expenditure of Money from the
Special Revenue Fund for Acquisition and Betterment of Public Parks. (Bill 1972-13).
Bill No. 1972-13, "An Ordinance Providing for the Expenditure of Money from the
Special Revenue Fund for Park Acquisition and Betterment", was read, the same being
on file in the office of the City Clerk. (C~9411).
Don Houlding, 7145 13th Avenue, appeared and spoke in opposition to this ordinance
amendment.
Lawrence Wozniczka, 6744 Wentworth Avenue, also spoke and inquired about procedures
to be followed and the estimated cost for Taft Park Development. It was rep®rted that
the revised estimated cost presented in the Federal Grant Application was $600,600.
Motion by Jacobsen, seconded by Luettinger, that the hearing on this proposed
amendment be closed and that this constitute a second reading of Bill No. 1972-13;
that it be spread in the ordinance book9 that it be published in the official newspaper
and that it be made a part of these minutes.
