SPECIAL MEETING
BUDGET HEARING
September 21, 1971
Pursuant to the hearing. of September 15, 1971, the council reconvened to
continue the budget meeting as a special session on Tuesday, September 21, 1971,
at 7:00 p.m., in the council chambers of the city 'hall, 6700 Portland Avenue.
The meeting was called to-order by Mayor Olson.
Present: Councilmen Luettinger and Law; Mayor Olson; City Manager Wayne S.
Burggraaff and Finance Director Thomas J. Moran.

The City Manager continued his over-all review of the proposed 1972 budget
with emphasis on the ma,3or significant expenditure increases in the General Fund.
It was agreed to continue this budget hearing to Thursday, September 30, 1971,
at 7:00 p.m. in the city hall council chambers subject to Councilmen Jacobsen and
Anderson being able to attend'. Other tentative dates established for budget
hearings were Monday, October 4th, and Wednesday, October 6th, 1971.
The meeting was adjourned at 9x45 Pa M..
