CITY OF RICHFIELD SPECIAL MEETING BUDGET HEARING October 9, 1970 Pursuant to the budget hearing of October 6, 1970, the council reconvened to continue the budget meeting as a special session on Friday, October 9, 1970, in the council cha~bers of the city hall, 6700 Portland Avenue, at 6:00 P. M. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Olson. Present -Anderson, Jacobsen, Luettinger, Law and Olson. Absent m none. Councilman Law reported that he. would like to go on record as opposed to having the new position in the planning department, which had been approved at ,the budget hearing of September 30, 1970, which meeting he was unable to attend, 1. Unallocated Contingency Fund. Motion by Law, seconded by Luettinger, that the unallocated account for contingency and salary adjustment purposes, Account ~k1470, be reduced by $50,000, to a tot~1 of $190,000. Motion. by Luettinger, seconded by Law, that the city accept the proposal from 1 the school offering the Wood Lake school facilities for the boxing program with an estimated cost to the city of $1,405 for improving the facility, as detailed in their proposal letter, Clerk's File No. C®8270.
