use permit b.e deferred to the Planning Commission-for further consideration and a
recommendation on interim handling of this type of request-which is in conflict with

tion .allowing .a 4.0 ft, front yard setback and the special use permit for a Betty
Crocker Sweet Shop at 7`!1 W. 66th St. with the following stipulations as reu

1. Site and building plans to be approved by the city staff,
2, Amore satisfactory circulation plan b.e provided by the applicant for
this pro3ec•t,
3. Better orientation of the building on the site be provided in the form
of rotating the front of the building more toward 66th St, as opposed to having
the side of the building front on 66th St.

lowing stipulations:

Harvey Feldman, Parks & Recreation Director, appeared .with Don Brauer of
Brauer and Associates, Ron Kalusche, 7600 4th Aveo So, appeared,

agreement-with Brauer and Associates on preliminary site planning services-for
the Park Development Program and specifically, Phase I; Phase II and III are
subject to future council authorization,

of a residential kennel license to Richard B. Burtis, 7325 Fremont Ave. All
ayes m carried,
13. Appropriation for Veterans on July 4th
Sid Butler, 6935 Washburn Ave., appealed for an appropriation of $300 for
a program recognising veterans on July 4th.
Motion by Anderson, seconded by Jacobsen, that the council appropriate $300,
in recognition of veterans on July 4th and also to endorse the concept of such~a
ceremony and recognition event on July 4th. All ayes - carried.
