l 1 CITY OF RICHFIELD Regular Meeting March 9, 1970 The council of the City of Richfield met in regular session in the council chambers of the City Hall, 6700 Portland Ave.,. Monday, March 9, 1970 at 7:00 P.M. Student Pastor, Tom Robison, of House of Prayer Lutheran Church, gave th~_in- vocation. `~he~meeting.was called to order by 'Mayor Olson. Resolution Relating to Processing Applications for Special Use Permits The city attorney explained the proposed resolution relating to procedures for the processing applications for special use permits for cafes and restaurants intending to serve liquor, Councilman Anderson requested that the record show that the intent of the resolution is that each business provide its own parking spaces. The city planner reviewed a flow chart on the planning process, Motion by Law, seconded by Anderson, that action on the resolution be dem ferred until the time of the second reading of the ordinance amendment, A11 ayes - carried, loo Hearing m Rezoning - 7500 Cedar Ave, It being 7:15 P. M. Mayor Olson called for the hearing on the application of Mark Z. Jones II, 5290 Villa Way, Minneapolis, for rezoning and read the noti~:e o:E hearing. The city planner reviewed the Planning Commission's consideration of the zoning request, 1i11 Dolsen, consulting .engineer for Mark Z, Jones TI, appeared in behalf of t?~e applicant.
