A11 ayes. - carried. 8. Huhn Rights Commission Appointment Motion by Law, seconded by Anderson, that George A. Reske, 6838 Clinton Ave. be appointed on the Human Rights Commission to fill the unexpired term of Mrs. Geri Waterman, All ayes - carried. 9. House Moving Permit - 7328 Portland Ave. Victor Lofstrom, applicant for a house moving permit, appeared. Motion by Anderson, seconded by Luettinger, that consideration of the ap- plication of Victor Lofstrom be deferred to the meeting. of February 23, 1970. A11 ayes o carried. 10, "No Parking" Restrictions on County Streets Sam Fischer reported on a parking and traffic study on county roads and made recommendations for "no parking" restrictions. Motion by Anderson, seconded by Luettinger, that March 9, 1970 be set for hearing on traffic restrictions on county streets, and to authorize the clerk to advertise such a hearing. A11 ayes - carried. 11, License m Kennel the application of George Slusser for a residential dog kennel license eras considered, it having been deferred from the previous meeting, `1`he city attorney read a letter of complaint from Mr, Ortloff, a neighbor. Mr. Huitt, neighbor, appeared. Bi11 No. 1970-6 (Transitory Ordinance) Bill No. 1970-6 entitled: "TRANSITORY ORDINANCE APPROPRIATION SPECIAL REVENUE FUNDS FOR 1970" was read by the city attorney, the same being on file in the office of the city clerk. 08146 Motion by Anderson, seconded by Law, that this constitute the first read- ing of Bill No. 1970-6 and that it be published in the official newspaper in accordance with the city charter. One 27,500 GVFT dump truck (a replacement item to be financed by revolving equipment fund) 6,400 3. One 3/4 ton pick-up truck with snow plow (a new item to be financed by Parks & Recreation maintenance activity budget) 3,400 4. Seven cars (4 are replacement patrol cars to be financed by revolving equipment fund; 3 are new staff cars to be financed by planning, parks and recreation, and engineering budget activities). 17,000 5. Proposed Agreement for City Ball Office Remodeling Motion by Luettinger, seconded by Law, that the council authorize the city manager to negotiate a contract with the architect for remodeling of certain city hall offices. Rental of Computer Time to Brooklyn Park Motion by Anderson, seconded by Law, that the council authorize the manager to enter into an agreement with the City of Brooklyn Park for rental of computer time.
