Special Meeting
Budget Hearing Sept, 30, 1969
After due-call and notice, the council of the City of Richfield met in the
council chamberc°s of the City Ha11, 6700 Portland Ave,, Tuesday, Sept. 30, 1959 at
7<00 P. M.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Olson.
Presents Anderson, Jacobsen, Luettinger, Law and Olson,
Absent: None.
The city manager reviewed the proposed revised 1969 budget and the recommended
1970 budget for the following activities:
Animal Control
Public Welfare
Parks & Recreation Administration
Parks & Recreation Maintenance
Parks & Recreation Swimming Pool
Unallocated General Expense
It was agreed that the contingency appropriation be raised to $233,800 and that
the revenues from other agencies be increased to $368,765, with both changes made
possible by higher than anticipated per capita sales tax revenue from the state,
Councilman Luettinger indicated he was opposed to the animal control budget due
to lack of serviee.
