Tn accordance with action taken at the special meeting of August 28, 1969,
the council of the City of Richfield met at the City Ha11, 6700 Portland Avem_,~
s.t 7000 Po Ma on Tuesday, Septo 16, 1969 to continue the budget hearing begun on
Septa 9, 1969°
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Olson,
Present: Jacobsen, Luettinger, La`a and Olson, Anderson arrived at 7030 Pablo
Absents Nonee

Questions of the council ~t~t~ answ9ered by the City Manager on the first
fifty pages of the budget document ~rhich items had been reviewed at the previous
special meeting, '
The City Manager continued his presentation on the proposed budget covering
the following;budget activitiese
Fire (Bill Reischel, 770: Upton Aveo, appeared with questions)o
Civil Defense (Carlyle Kerich appeared with questions)o
Engineering
Motion by Jacobsen, seconded by Lana, that the revised 1969 budget on
Engineering for Capital Outlay include $1200 for a printer and table, and that
this item be deleted from the 1970 proposal, A11 ayes m carried,
