09-08-19691 CITY OF RICHFIELD Regular Meeting Sept. 8, 1969 The council of the City of Richfield met in regular session in the council chambers of the City Ha11, 6700 Portland Ave., Monday, Sept. 8, 1969, at 7:00 P. M. Student Pastor Tom R~,'~ison9 House of Prayer Lutheran Chz+rch, gave the n=~~~~- - cation. The meeting was called to. order by Mayor Olson. Present: Anderson, Jacobsen, Luettinger, Law and Olson. Absent: None. 1 1 Motion by Anderson, seconded by Jacobsen, that the m~.nutes of the regular meeting of Sept. 8, 1969 be approved. A11 ayes - carried. Motion by Anderson, seconded by Jacobsen, that the minutes of the special meeting of Aug. 28th, 1969 be approved. All ayes - carried. 2. Reports Motion by Anderson, seconded by Law, that the following reports be ac- cepted and filed: Inspection report Relief report August 1969 August 1969 C-809 3 C-8094 A11 ayes - carried, 3. Proclamation Mayor Olson signed a proclamation designating a week in September as YMCA Indian Guides Week. Donald Parry appeared representing the YMCA Indian Guides. 4. Hearing on Proposed Assessment - City Project No. 565 It being 7:15 P. M. Gi11 Okerstrom, 8$11 Crescoe Road, Bloomington, appeared representing the church. Robert Gordon, 6937 Nicollet Ave., spoke in opposition. Motion by Luettinger, seconded by Jacobsen, that the hearing be closed, All ayes - carried. Motion by Jacobsen, seconded by Law, that a decision on this matter be deferred to the next meeting. Bill No. 1969-9 - Misdemeanor Penalties Bi11 No. 1969-9 entitled: "AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 1, SECTION 1,10, SUBDIVISION 1 OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF RICHFIELD, MINNESOTA" was read by the city attorney, the same being on file in the office of the city clerk.
