06-09-19691 CTTY OF RICHFIELD Regular Meeting June 9, 1969 The council of the City of Richfield met in regular session in the council chambers of the City Hall, 6700 Portland Ave., Monday, June 9, 1969 at 7:00 P.M. Pastor Alf Romstad of Woodlake Lutheran Church gave the invocation. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Olson, Present: Anderson, Jacobsen, Law, Luettinger and Olson, Absents None. 1. Award to LaMettry An award was presented to Robert LaMettry, police captain, from the Sun Newspapers as "Policeman of the Year". 2. Minutes Motion by Luettinger, seconded by Jacobsen, that the minutes of the regular LJ meeting of May 26, 1969 be approved, corrected as followso Page 6, Item 11 - Mayor Olson voted "nay" on the dog kennel license of Mrs. George Amundson, 7325 Emerson Ave. Page 9, Item 18 - The motion should have included that another appoint- ment to the Human Rights Commission be made at the meeting of June 9, 1969.
