meeting of February 10, 1969 be approved, All ayes - carriede

Motion by Jacobeans seconded by Anderson, that the minutes of the bid-
openings Feba 179 1.969, on a truck for the flusher be approved. All ayes -

Motion by Luettingers seconded by Laws that the council accept the low
bid of Harold Chevrolets Inc, for $5516 as recommended by the manager. A11

7. Bids ~ Fence for Baseball Field
Motion by Jacobeans seconded by Anderson, that the minutes of-the bid-
openings Feb, 179.19699 on a fence for the baseball field at Donaldson Park
be approved. All ayes - carried, C®7976
Motion by Luettinger9 seconded by Laws that the council accept the low
bid of Designed Fencings Inc,s for $9769.50 as recommended by the manager.

Motion by Jacobeans seconded by Andersons that the minutes of the bid-
openings Febo 17, 19699 on a street flusher be approved. A11 ayes -carried. C-7977
Motion by Luettinger9 seconded by Laws that the council accept the low
bid of Ruffridge~Johnson Equipment Co, for $6075 as recommended by the manager.

9. Discussion - Human Rights Commission Alternate Apptmt.
A general. discussion was held on the advisability of creating an alternate
posi~:ion for the Human R:i,ghte Commissions Mrs. Amram appeared in interest,
Tt was agreed 'by the council not to create such a position.

Mayor Olson announced his reappointment of Blmer Hillner to the Police
Cavil Se~ice Comin.iesion and requested the council's ratification, He also

Motion by Anderson, seconded by Jacobsen, that the council approve the
appointment of Elmer Hillner to the Police Civil Service Commission and Ralph
Gilbertson to the Fire Civil Service Commission for a three year te~'m ending
1'ebrcaary 1972a All ayes carried,
Arnold Johnson spoke on the Fire Civil Service appointments
Mayor Olson announced reconsideration of the Fire Civil Service appoint-
meat,
Motion by Olson seconded by Anderson9 that Ralph Gilbertson be appointed
to the Fire Civil Service Commission for a three year term ending February 1972,
