The council of the City of Richfield met in regular session in the council chambers of the City Hall, 6700 Portland Ave., Monday, September 9, 1 1968 at 700 P*M. Rev. Lowell A. R,einking, Church of Peace, gave the invocation. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Olsono, Present: Anderson, Jacobsen, Luettinger, Randall and Olson. Absents None, 1. Minutes Motion by Luettinger, seconded by Jacobsen, that the minutes of the regu. lar meeting of August 26, 1968 be approved, corrected as follows: Item 26, Page 12 - Correct misspelled word "cabs"e Item 28, Page 12 ® should read: ttThe council decided to hold a special meeting on Sept. 3, 1968 at 7 :00 P.Me to receive the 1969 budget proposal and to publish notice of the first public hearing on the budget for Sept. 13, 1968 at 7 :00 F.M." Code--Reg,, of Parades & Marches Bill No. 1968-12 entitled° "AMDMMT TO CHAPTER IV OF THR ORDINANCV CODIV OF TIM CITY OF RICHFIELD, MINNESOTA" was read by the city attorney, the same being on file in the office of the city clerk. Change in Car Wash Ordot Sec. 6.044 Sub d. 5 The acting manager read a letter from Mro Karl Foster requesting a defer- ral of this matter to Sept* 23rd because of his inability to attend the meeting. 7.
