mayor asked if cosies of the subcommittee minutes could be sent to the councils 11o Proposal for long range planning for Hennepin County Operation of Libraries Helen Youngs Director of Hennepin County LibraryD presented a report of findings and legislative proposals regarding Hennepin County Library and rem quested council approvals =4m April 109 1967 The bonding for the bui9lding program would be levied throughout the county as general obligation bonds and is being included in the general legislation that the county is presenting to the legislature Allan Friedman9 coordinator of business affairs for the Hennepin County .~ Library systern9 answered questions of the council, Leasing present facilities was discussed, The attorney stated that in .his opinion the county probably could not acquire the Richfield library through condemnation proceedingso Lois Anderson appeared in interest on needs of regional library provisionso Ted Farrington as~Ced for clarification of the funding without referendum, Miss Russell from Hennepin County library also appeared, Motion by Olson9 seconded by Luettinger9 that action on long range planning report for the Hennepin County Library system
