Councilman Jacobsen summarized the Pire Study Committee report,

present disability benefits being paid at the rate of one®haif of first class

Motion by O1son9 seconded by Jacobsen9 that the council approve the pro®
posed plan with a requirement of twenty years8 service at age 55 for those hirdd
after' July 19 1967a
