07-20-1965 SpecialCITY QF RIQ~IFIELD~ Special Meeting Board of Equalization July 20, 1965 In accordance with action taken a~ the special meeting of July 14, 1965, the council of the City of Riehf ieid met as the Board of Bqualization in the council chambers of the City Haii, 6700 Portland Ave., Tuesday, July 20, 1965, at ?s00 P.M. The meeting was called to ordgr by Magor Olson. Presents Jacobsen, Luettinger, Randall and Olson= 0. J. Absent: Anderson Janski and Dan Rognrud, duly appointed resident members. Wayne Johnson of Hennepin County was present. Absents none. Theodore Goldman, president B.T.A. Construction Co., 6320 Lyndale Ave., appeared stating the reasonable value of his apartment at 6320 Lyndale Ave. was $155,000; this amount was under the assessor's value. Motion by Jacobsen, seconded bq Randall, that this matter be referred to the assessor for establishing value on the basis of furnished cert3f led con- stru~tion costs plus 100, and assessor ad3ust as to his ,judgment. Ali ayes - carried. Margaret Mankowski, 1902 Fiiimore fit., appeared relative to 6421 Cedar Ave., ob,~ecting to amount of taxes, No action was taken since there was no~ob3ection to the value. Allen Levine, 2314. W. 65th St., ob3ected to 90% completion and felt 80% was; closer, Motion by Luettinger, seconded by Jacobsen, that this mattet be referred to assessor. for Mr. Levine to furnish certified figures, to support his claim and the assessor to ad3ust according to his 3udgment.
