March 22, 1965, in the cbuncii chambers of the'City Hallg 6700 Portland Ave.

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Qison.
Present: Anderson, Jacobsen, Luettinger, Randall and ~Tlson.
Absent: None.

It being 7x15 P.M. Mayor Olson called for the hearing on the..applica®

R. C. Rettick, 7421 Lyndale Ave, S,, asked if there was any intention
of combining Honda 5a1es with this. She answer ~uas °•No°•. The city attorney
said that a: change in the special use permit would be needed if this were to
be done. Mr. Rettick~objected to use for foreign and sports car sales and
service because of the noise nuisance. He a;i~o spoke in favor of preserving
the property for grocery sales as an aid to the area.
Fred Amram, 7337 Aldrich Ave., spoke. against the carnival atmosphere
brought on by car sales.
Einar Jorgenson, 7336.Lyndaie Ave, S., appeared in opposition.
Motion by Jacobsen, seconded by Randall, that the hearing be closed.

service made by the police department be sent to the Safety Council for
