Pursuant to action taken at the meeting of February 23, 1965, the council
of the City of Richf ieid met in special session in the City Hali, 6700 Portland
Ave., t~iednesday, March 10, 1965 at 7:00 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Olson.
Present: Anderson, Jacobsen, Luettinger, Randall and Olson.
Absent: None.
The meeting was held to consider the Public Improvement Budget for 1965 as pre-
rented by the manager.
Group #1 - Street and Alley Grading
Lyle Bing, 6319 Knox, Ave. S., appeared in interest of the Emerson Ave.
extension representing Wood lake P.T.A. Board.
Motion by Olson, seconded by Luettinger, that the council proceed with
preliminary report on Rae Drive, existing dead end to 65th 5t. and Emerson
Ave. as well as Mildred St., Bmerson~Ave. to Colfax Ave. Ail ayes - carried.
Lincoln Pie ld - 74th & Pleasant
Ernie Ciubb, 7409 ~mmerson Ave. S., Pres. of Nest Little League, ap0
peered asking for policy to tag cars when the season opens, and other small
issues relative to the Little League bail parks.
Motion by Olson, seconded by Jacobsen, that the proposed extension of
water service into Lincoln Field be approved. All ayes m carried.
Group #1 - $ Suggested Alley
Motion by Randall, seconded by Jacobsen, that no hearing be held on
the suggested alley until a majority of ~proper.ty owners petition for the o'L'°
alley, Ly~laie Ave. to Aldrich Ave., 63rd St. to Aldrich Ave, All ayes -
carried,

Robert M. Lambert:. appeared in interest of ball fie ids at Taft Park.
A general review on ali parts of the proposed 1965 Public Improvement
Budget was made.
Motion by Jacobsen, seconded by Luettinger, that the next meeting to
consider the Public Improvement Budget further be set for March 15, 1965 at
7:00 P.M., and that the publicity on the meeting be given to the Minneapolis
Star and W,P.B.C. radio station. All ayes - carried.
Motion by Luettinger, seconded by Jacobsen, that the meeting be ad-
3ourned. Ail ayes - carried.
