The meeting was called to order by Mayor Olson. Present: Anderson, Jacobsen, Luettinger, Randall and Olson. Absent: None. Dr. Sherman Miller, St. Nicholas Episcopal Church,. gave the invocation. 1. Berg, Consulting Bngineer, 2324 Hampden Ave., St, Paul, for a feasibility report on the improvement of Wood Lake, Richfield Lake and Legion Lake be approved, and the $1000 fee be paid from appropriations made for development of Legion Lake in 196<F from the Public Smprovement program. All ayes -carried. 27. Actuarial Report - Pension Pund The actuarial report (C-7460) made by George V. Stennes & Associates, was discussed. Pioyd Roman, Donald Lundquist and Russ=ell Peterson represented the Police Relief Association. A committee was appointed to work on the police pension fund proposed legislation and to include: Floyd Roman, 0. R. Van Krevelen, Stanley W. Olson, Edward J, Moline, William G. Kirchner, Jerome Blatz and Clayton L_. LeFevere, the " committee to meet January 4, 1965 at '7.00 P.M, All ayes - carried. 28, Plans for New City Municipal Center Ralph Shinier, architect; Mr.~Johnson and Mr. Solee, representing Orr Schelen, appeared to answer questions on the proposed plans. Motion by Anderson, seconded by Jacobsen, that the plans as submitted by Ralph 6himer, architect, be approved for the new City Municipal Centers Ali ayes - carried. Captain LaMettry appeared for answering questions on his investigation. Gordon Stevens and Mr. .Sexton, attorney, appeared in answer to questions on Utayside Inn. The following appeared in behalf of Mr. Stevens: Ed Welsh; Harvey Jackson, 7220 Blaisdell; Jim Knowles; Lebanon Twp.; Robert Cortes, Bloomington; and Mrs. Stevens. Motion by Randall, seconded by Luettinger, that the council deny the rew newel' of licenses for the Wayside Inn requested by Gordon Stevens. All ayes - carried. Motion by Olson, seconded by Jacobsen, that the licenses of Wayside Inn be extended for thirty days to allow Mr. Stevens to sell the business. Ali ayes - carried. 30.
