Robert Gerde appeared in opposition and requested construction of the alley. Robert Hinman, 63®S Aldrich Ave. r~rote a letter in favor of construction, letter presented by Mr. Gerde. It eves suggested that the construction of this a11ey be considered in the 1965 Public .Improvement program. Motion by Olson, seconded by Anderson, that the letter from Mt. Hinman be accepted and filed. All ayes -carried, C-?323 The village attorney gave the opinion that vacating a portion of the alley may incur legal liability. Mr. Schaetcel stated that Mrs. Fritz had authorized him t® state she would deed 15 f t. for street if the ,village would provide the other 15 ft. He also requested referral again to Planning Commission. Alen Herman, president of Capitol Mortgage & Ynvestment and George Ralinsky, architect, and Harry Tickner, builder, appeared. Mr,. Schaetcsl referred to action taken in September of 1961 on turning down a similar apartment complex,. Wesley James, 6237 Russell Ave,, was opposed and requested referral again to the Planning Commission. Mr.. Addis, 6520 Russell Ave., appeared and requested attention to storm drainage. Since the number of two bedroom units was decreased f rose the original appii> cation, no new hearing was required. R. H. Knoch, 7111 i8th Ave., was concerned with the top apartment story looking into his back yard. Improper front yard was discussed.
