council met as the Board of Review in the council chambers, 6700 Portland

Councilman Jacobsen presided,

former figure9 and that he be informed of abatement procedure rights. Ali

claiming his property was not equal to other properties in the area, and has

Motion by Jacobsen, seconded by Luettingere that these three homes be rem
checked. Ali ayes ~- carried.
Leo Lazinsky, 6341- Standish Ave., appeared asking if noise from jet planes
did not reflect lower land values. Motion by Jacobsen, seconded by Anderson,
that valuation remain as it is. Carried,
David Holman, 7605 16th Ave„ S. (Plat 45314, Parcel 1000) thought $2600
increase excessive. Motion b~- Jacobsene seconded by Y.uettingere that there be
no change in valuation. Ail ayes ~ carried.
Charlotte Strom, 6700 Garfield Ave, CP1at 457408 parcel 1500 & 1550) felt
area did not warrant increase. A4otion by Luettingere seconded by Anderson,
that the assessor check the irregular shaped lot (6710 Garfield) and make any
necessary change. Aii ayes m carriedo
Bdward Sifferie,-7010 16th Ave. ~, (plat 453158 Parcel 6200) appeared,
stating that there was no basis for increase. Motion by Jacobsen, seconded
by Jacobsen, that the assessor check this out for possible change8 and make
necessary adjustment. Carried.
P. J. Dooley, 7053 Oak Grove Blvd, (Plat 467908 Parcel 923) said land
Haloes varied across the street. Motion by Luettingere seconded by Jacobsen,
that assessor recheck this propertye and if value was out of line with other
properties, he is to make change. ail ayes carried.
Dr. Rennekee 7532 Sheridan Ave, S. (Plat 463708 Parcel 5610) claimed
$24,600 valuation too (nigh. He orally submitted a partial of an appraisal
report on this property. Motion by Andersone seconded by Luettingere that
value remain at $24,000 market value as recommended by the assessor after
viewing the property, Carried,
John Maiins4cie 917 ~V, 66th St. (Plat 457558 parcel 750) complained of
too much tax for property on 66th 5t. Motion by Anderson, seconded by

Luettingere that the assessor reconsider sand values in this area and adjust
if he finds any obsolescence because of Superamerica station and Bridgman°s.

Donald GPitz, ?424 18th Ave, S. CPlat 469968 Parcel 2500) claimed value
too high, Motion by Jacobsen, seconded bq Luettingere that the assessor look
into the value on this property. Carried.
E. W. Cuinane, 6?3? Harriet Ave. {Plat 45?408 Parcel 3600) objected to
being assessed for garage and porch he didnet haves but had no objection to
total valuation. Motion by Luettingere seconded by Jacobsene that no action
be taken. Aii ayes m carried.

and values too high for surrounding properties. Motion by Anderson, seconded
