VILLAGB OF RICHFIELD Regular Meeting December 9, 1963 The council of the Village of Richfield met in regular session, Monday, December 9, 1963, in the council chambers of the Village Hall, 6700 Portland Ave., at 7x00 P.M. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Olson. Present: Anderson, Jacobsen, Luettinger, Randall and Olson. Absents None. Rev. Lbweii Ae Reinking, Church of Peace, gave the invocation. 1. Nordstrom, 6401 Clinton Ave., appeared in explanation of having a fence running into the pond, J. Mayor Oisan offered information that area was primarily for ponding, how- ever, a secondary use for sliding on both St, side and skating on pond should tie maintained. Motion by Jacobsen, seconded by Luettinger, that the council leatre the property as it is presently being used, and any future change or agreements on any public property be made at council meetings. Meeting with School Board Discussed The mayor gave a summary of the ,point meetings of the council and school board and read new information received from the assistant superintendent of schools regarding effect upon Centennial School of the future de~-elopment of the remaining land area. ~, Hearing m Special Use Permit m 1300 B. 78th St. Minutes of the hearing held on Nov. 12 were reviewed by the mayor. Mayor Olson called for consideration on the application of Skyline Bidrs. 2317 Central Ave. N. B. for a special use permit at 1300 E. 78th St., which action had been deferred from the Nov. 12th meeting, Dan Rognrud represented the builders and owner of the property. He rem quested a change in, his application to a 52munit building and a 34~unit build ing respectively in order to meet the density codee eliminate the exit on 77th St. and move the 14th Ave, entrance to the sou th.
