Letter Relative to Miine:r Pond Mr. Harry J. Todd, 6332 4th Ave. S., appeared relative to the.ietter he had written to the council dated November. 4, 1963. The purpose of Milner Pond was discussed, the council stating that the purchase was made for pondi~ and storm drainage area.- Qbstructions to pubi.ic propertq, especially on Lot 12, was raised. The village attorney said that policy of purpose of area could be determined by the council and they would have the authority tca remove any obstruction. Vern Geeing, 6409 Clinton Ave., said approval for placing flower bed and rock wail in rear of Lots 1 & 2 and 64th St. had been received from a pre- vious council. J. W, Johnson, 6327 4th Ave. S., stated he had been asked to get off Milner Pond when he was skating. Bob Stinchfield, 6333 4th Ave. S., objected to replacing shrubs at -s- Nov. 12, 1963 ~. . village expense in this area. Mrs. Merkert, 6427 Clinton Ave., spoke in fapor of area being flooded. Authorize Call for Bids - Sale of Storage Shed Motimn by Randall, seconded by Luettinger, that the council authorize the clerk to call for bids on the sale of metal storage shed at~6700 Portland Ave.; bids to be opened Dec. 3, 1963. Aii ayes - carried. 20. Bids -"Water Meters ~ - Motion bq Jacobsen, seconded by Lue ttinger, that the minutes of the bid- opening of-Nov, 7, 1963 on water meters be approved. X11 ayes m carried.
