Special Meeting
Sept. 16, 1963.
Pursuant to action at the meeting of September 9, 1963, the council
met in special session on Monday, September 16,1963, at 7000 P.M. in the
council chambers of the Village Hail, 6700 Portland Ave.
Mayor Olson called the meeting to order.
Present: Anderson, Jacobsen, Randall and Oisons
Absents Luettinger (on personal business,)
A discussion was held on the proposed budget for 1964 as presented by the
manager at the meeting September 9ths
Cornelius McCoy appeared in interest of additional appropriation for the
Charter Commission regarding possib 1e expenditures on the vote in the early
part of 1964,
The council formalized the appointment of Robert Cook as chairman to
form a Citizens° Advisory Committee for the purpose of informing the public on
the reasons for a new Municipal Center.
1`entative approval was granted on all phases of the budget for Other
Current Expenses and Capital Outlay. Additional information was requested for
ob,~ect Class 20 (Village Hali budget), purchase of mobile radio for Water De~
partments and purchase or lease of Integrated Electronic Data Processing Unit
$n the Sewer Bailing and Collection Divisions Also, further discussion to be
held on financing portion of Aerial Ladder 1~wxck for the Fire Departments
The meeting then adjourned.
