Pursuant to action taken at 9:00 A.M., July 12, 1963, the council of the
Village of Richfield met as a Board of Review on Priday, July 12, 1963, at
7r00 P.M.
Mayor Olson called the meeting to order.
Present: Anderson, Jacobsen, Reese & Olson.
Absent: Randall (on vacation
Selmer Vick, 6920 3rd Ave. S., appeared. He objected to excessive valuam
tion on certain parcels at ?4th & Queen Ave. The council recommended the
market value for each parcel in the plat at $27,000.00.
Henry Zauderer, 6300 Pleasant Ave., appeared complaining that assessed
value of $22,545.00 for Lest 1, Block 6, Adolphson & Peterson°s Addition com-
pared to $23,500.00 purchase price was too high. He asked for devaluation of
structure because of railroad switch area. The council concluded that land
values were already low on this property which takes into consideration the
railroad.
Don Lynch represented the property at 6b15 Lakeshore Drive.
The council directed the assessor to write and inf orm the property owner
of abatement procedure.
Motion by Anderson, seconded by Jacobsen, that the letter of objection
from C. B~ Falenc~ykowski, 6615 Lakeshore Drive, be accepted and filed, Ali
