Wayne Flow, representing Phillips Petroleum, appeared as well as the applicant, Gil Sandin. Mrs. Shirley Johnson, 6709 12th Ave., questioned egress from the station. Motion by Jacobsen, seconded by Reese, that the hearing be closed. All ayes - carried. Opinion of police on possible traffic problem and h3,ghway approval for cutting into service drive was requested by the council. Motion by Anderson, seconded by Jacobsen, that consideration of the special use permit request be deferred until January 28, 1963. All aye s - carried. 15. Hearing - Adjustment & Appeals - 6916 Logan Ave. It being 7:15 P.M. Mayor Olson called for the hearing on the applica- tion of Robert L. Thompson, 6912 Logan Ave. 5. for an adjustment and appeals at 6916 Logan Ave. and read the notice of hearing. No persons appeared in opposition. Mr. Thompson, applicant, appeared. Motion by Anderson, seconded by Reese, that the council grant the zon- ing variation at 6916 Eogan Ave. 5., allowing owner to cpnstruct a two- story house with a Side yard of 5' instead of 10* as required by Ord. #2.03.
