09-17-1962 SpecialVTI.LAGB ~~Op RICHPIBLD ~ ' Special Meeting Sept. 17~ 1962 In accordance with action taken at the meeting of September.l0, 1962, the council of the Village of Richfiel8 met in special session, Mondaq, 5eptem- bet 17, 1982, in the council chambers of the Village Ha.ii~, 6700 Portland Ave., at 7x00 P.M. The meeting was called to order bq Mayor Olson. , Presents Anderson, Jacobsen, 5chulta, Shields and Olson. Absents None• The current expense items of the proposed budget were received„ Under the expense of dog control some discussion was held on making the license fees adequate enough to cover the control costs. In reviewing the budget for street expense, the council asked the manager to make provisions in the specifications for tree trim~.ng bids to eliminate the use of "spikes" on smelt trees. The cost of the contributions made bq the village for employees retire- - went was discussed. Under the swimming pool budget the manager pres3ented the operating state- ment for the 1962 swim season showing a net income of $7,143.16. Motion by Schultze seconded bq Shields, that the total current expenses for each division as proposed by the manager be approved, and that appro- priations be made for divisions under the general, park and poor funds; as the amount for eurrent expenses in 1963. Ail ages - carried. Motion by Shields, seconded by Jacobsen, that the meeting be adjourned to October 1, 1962 at 7;00 P.M. Ail ages - carried..
