The meeting was called th order by Mayor Olson. Present: Arnlerson, Jacobsen, Schultz, Shields and Olson. Absent - none. Pastor Robert'', Dickson, Hope Pres. Church, gave the invocation. 1. Motion by Shields' seconded by Jacobsen, that the council appropriate an additional $2000 for furnishing the kitchen of the Community Center Roam in the library as recommended by the manager, funds to be obtained from the Public ~+Torks Reserve Pund, Ali ayes carried. 25. Appointment of Architect for Preliminary Plans of Public Buildings A report from the manager dated August 21, 1962, was presented listen ing a number of architectural firms for preliminary plans for a proposed Village Hail, garage, shops and west side fire station. Motion by Anderson, seconded by Shields, that the council approve the appointment of Ralph Shinier as architect for preliminary plans on the proposed buildings for the Village of Richfield as a package.
