Adjourned Meeting of Board of Review'

In compliance with action taken at the meeting of July 26, 1962, the
council of the Village of Richfield met in an adjourned session of the
Board of Review at the Village Hall, 6700 Portland Ave., Thursday, 'July
31, 1962 at 7:00 P.M.
Wayne Johnson and Robert Martin were present representing the Hennepin
County Supervisory of Assessment Off ice.
Present: Anderson, Jacobsen, Schultz, Shields and Olson.
Absent: None.
Paul Nystrom and Fred Adelman appeared relative to Plat 44835, Farcels
L
4100, 3145 and 4200. Nystrom presented a private appraisal made on his pro-
perty.
Motion by Anderson, seconded by Schultz, that the assessor*s valuation
for Nystrom property (Parcels 4100 and 4200) be sustained. All ayes - carried.
Motion by Schultz, seconded by Shields, that the value of Adelman's
property (Parcel 3145) be adjusted to be the same as Nystrom's, namely:
$24,956.00. All ayes -carried.
G. Russell Johnson, 6401,-Washburn Ave., protested his valuation, compar-
ing it to several others. Motion by Shields, seconded by Jacobsen, that the
value be adjusted to $22,464,00.
Pol]: of votes: Ayes -. Jacobsen, Schultz, Shields and Olson. Nays -Anderson.
Absent - none. Carried.
James. P. Hoban appeared representing the Hub Shopping Center to register
a protest with the thought of carrying the objection to the County Board of
Reviewe No vote.
Adjourned Board of Review m2- July 31, 1962
Fred Miller, 6401 Vincent Ave.. S., objected to the resurvey valuation.
Motion by Anderson, seconded bq Jacobsen, that the assessor's figure
be sustained, Ali ayes -carried.
Archie Love, 6415 Washburn Ave., objected to the raise of his valuation
from $17,600.00 to $18,200.00,
Motion by Schultz, seconded by Shields, that the Board approve the val-
uation at the previous figure of $17,600.00. Ali ayes - carried.
Eugene Parker, 6210 Washburn Ave. felt an obsolescense for the cross-
town highway should be allowed.

Motion by Shields, seconded by Jacobsen, that the previous figure of
$22340.00 be maintained on the basis that if the crosstown highway affected
the valuation, an adjustment could be made after its completion. Ali ayes -
carried.
Motion by Shields, seconded by Jacobsen, that the meeting be adjourned.
Ail ayes - carried,
