qhe council of the Village of Richfield met in regular session in the
council chambers of the Village Hall, 6700 Portland Ave., Akinday, January
8, 1962 at 7:00 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Olson.
Present: /iderson, Jacobsen, Schultz, Shields and Olson.
Absent: None.

low bid of Lehn Electric Co. of $8,000.00 as recommended by the manager,

the low bid of P. M. Johnson of. .$2,649.10 as recommended by the manager,
the balance of the amount over $2500.00 is expected to be covered by the
donation of .$1000.00 from Community Center, inc. All ayes m carried.
17. Thunderbird Motal Request
Paur.Johnson, attorney, 6635 Southcrest Drive, presented a plot
plan of the proposed structure and requested consideration at some future
date on their plans for dispensing liquor under the new "Bottle Club9° law.

The general condition of skating rinks was discussed. The council. also
expressed a desire to get some improvement on the opening hours of the warmA
