Pursuant to M3.nnesota Statistes of 19539 Sec. 27..01, the council of the
93.l.lage of Richfield met as the Board of Review at 4s30 P.M., Thursday,
July 27, 1961, in the council chambers of the Village Hall, 6700 Portland
Ave., as ad3ourned from July 11, 1961.
The meeting was called to ord®r by Nlayor Keldsen,
Present a. Schultz, Shield~r, Kelds~en and Anderson {arrived 15 minutes late).
Absents Serstock.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl V.Rudolph appeared protesting the real estate value
established on 6908 First Avenue South. It was suggested and recommended
that the assessor approve necessary abatement documents lowering the value
on this property to X12,000.
Motion by Schultz, seconded by Shields, that the property be giv®n a
flat valuation of X12,000. Carried.
Mr. Robert~M. Manser appeared protesting the real estat® value
established/on 6l~09 Washburn Avenue South. It was suggested and recommend®d
that the ~(ssessor approve necessary abatement documents lowering the value
on this property to X17,900.
by Keldsen, seconded by Shields, that the property be given a
flat valuation of X17,900. Carried.
Motion by Schultz, seconded by Shields, td~at the Mayor attend the annual
Portorama Parade in Duluth on Sunday, ;August 6th. Carried.
