i 1 VILLAGE OF RICHFIELD Bid - Opening May 89 1961 Black Dirt & Sodding - Sheridan Park - V.P. 431 11:00 A.M. Pursuant to requirements of Resolution No. 1015, a meeting of the administra- tive staff was held in the Village Hall, 6700 Portland Ave. at I1 :00 A.M. on Monday, May 89 1961. The meeting was called to order by the village manager who announced that the purpose of the meeting was to receive, open and read aloud, sealed bids . on the black4.d rV`and• sodding for Sheridan Park ispublished by the official newspaper, April 27, 1961. Present: O. R. Van Krevelen, manager Leo Jolly, engineer Roy Swenson, administrative asst. Edw. J. Moline, clerk- treasurer The clerk presented a total of four bids on black dirt and sodding for Sheridan Park and called for any outstanding bids. None were forthcoming. Adjustment of Special Assessments m 367 Apple Lane The council considered the request of Carl Eo Swanson, 367 Apple Lane, for an adjustment and cancellation of special assessments, which matter had been deferred from the meeting of April 249 1961. Motion by Shields, seconded by Schultz, that the council approve the reduction of $136.00 on special assessments for Carl E. Swanson, 367 Apple Lane, to be assumed as village share. Moratorium on Gasoline Service Station Applications The council agreed that the taking of applications for special use per- mits for gasoline service stations be deferred until the "Land Use" and mas- ter-plan survey is completed. 26. Speed Limits in Alleys in Village A report from the village attorney dated April 259 1961 was read rela- tive to setting speed limits in alleys.
