On due call and notice the ®illage council of the Village of Richfield
met in special session in the council chambers of the Village Iiall® 6700
Portland Areas March 30a 1961 (Thursday) at 4x30 Porte
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Keldseno
Presents Anderson Schultzo Shields and ~Celdsen,
Absents .5erstock (called. the eating m~.nager from Stillwater)

The attorney presented the point and contention on engineering fees bey
tv„een the accepted schedule. of the Minnesota Society of Professional Hngineers
and the ~ requested by Larkin & Associates f.or the contract on the proposed
surimming pools The council decided that the fee paid should be on the basis
accepted by the Minnesota Society of Professional Hngineers and the attorney
was instructed to call MI's Larkin in Kansas Citye
A discussion was held on acquisition of additional property at the site
of the proposed pool and the attorney was authorized to negotiate with Mro
Henning for his property at $22,000 with ~. top ®f $220500®
Condemnation proceedings will be instituted at the request of the proper®
ty owner on the parcel immediately west of the Henning property with an esti®
acted cost®f $]28500 also authorizedo
