On due call and notice' the council of the Village of Richf ieid met in the
council chambF~rs of the Village Halls Fridays March 10e 1961 at 7230 FeMo
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Keldsenm

The meeting was scheduled to meet with Larkin & Associates on the proposed
swimming pool.
Kenneth Larkin of Larkin & Associa tees commented on aspects of the engi
nearing study for a, proposed pool, which report had been accepted February 279

Mrs, Grunditze 6715 Elliot Ave.e represented the League of Women Voters and

expressed their feeling that the Village Ha11 consideration should come before
swimming pools.

before the consideration of a pool (especially on 16th Avee between 62nd and 63rd,)
David Lo Bouiaye 6316 Grand Aveoe appeared in opposition to the pool®

Mr.. Anderson, 6740 Sheridan Ave., spoke in favor of the pool,
William Kirchner, 6830 Newton Ave. S., favored the proposed pool.
Mrs. Martenson, 2895 W. 71st St., was in favor.
Motion by Shields, seconded by Schultz, that the meeting be adjourned.
