1 1 1 VILLAGE OF RICHFIELD Regular Meeting March 28, 1960 The council of the Village of Richfield met in regular session in the council chambers of the Village Hall, 6700 Portland Ave. at 7100 P,M,, Monday, Mar, 28, 1960, The meeting was called to order by Mayor Keldsen, Present: Anderson, Schultz, Serstock, Shields, Keldsen. Absent: None. Rev* Peter Unruh, Wooddale Baptist Church of Richfield, gave the in- vocation,. 1. Minutes Motion by Schultz, seconded by Anderson, that the minutes of the regular meeting of March 14, 1960 be approved. All ayes - carried. 2. Reports Notion by Shields, seconded by Schultz, that the following reports be accepted and filed: Henn. Paints and rave Goldblad, attorney for National Advertising Co., applicant, for eight signs to be erected at Hub Shopping Center appeared. The village attorney requested time to review, the original develop- went contract. Motion by Schultz, seconded by Serstock,, that the matter of the•erec- tion.of eight signs at the Hub Shopping Center be deferred until April 119 1960. All ayes ® carried. 7* Hearing w Rezoning ® 7445 Penn Ave. S. It being 7015 P.M. Mayor Keldsen called for a hearing on the applica- tion of Lyle C. Otto, 6701 Penn Ave.. S. to rezone property at 7445 Penn Ave. from multiple residence to limited business and read the notice of hearing. Motion by Serstock, seconded by Anderson, that the letter from Maurice Goldman of Twin Realty Investment Co. dated Mar. 10, 1960 protesting the building of a building at 7445 Penn Ave. be accepted and filed. Werness, to rezone property known as 2716 W, 66th St, from residential to general commercial and read the notice of hearingo John Akers, 301 Washburn Place, appeared, Mr, Roberts, Cincinnati, Ohio, appeared, J, D@ Armstrong, 6538 Thomas Ave,, presented a remonstrance petition signed by 60 home owners in the area. Motion by Anderson, seconded by Shields, that the petition containing 60 signatures of persons protesting the rezoning of 2716 W, 66th St, be ac- cepted and filed., All ayes - carried.
