Special Meeting
October 23; 1959
After due call and notice the council of the Village of Richfield met in
special session, Pridays October 23, 1959 in the council chambers of the Village
Hall, 6700 Portland Ave. at 4:30 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Keidsen.
Present: Reldsenp Schultze 5erstockm
Absent: Wallick and Anderson.
Park Planner
The council discussed the engagement of one of four park planners who
had submitted proposals and fees for a survey of Richfield's park needso
Motion by Serstock~ seconded by Schultze that the village attorney be

authorized to negotiate for the purchase of certain park property in the
vicinity of 66th St. & Portland Ave. Carried.
Authoritgr to Call for Hids~

Motion by Serstock, seconded by Schultz, that the council authorize
the clerk to advertise for bids on additional grading of Jefferson Park;
bids to be opened November 9, 9.959 , Carried.
