Absent s Serstods Delegates to ~.M.~a Congress Motion bq tla11l3.cke sec®nded by Schultze that the cotsncii•s previous action on September 14e 1939 that Councilmen Anderson and Serst©ck attend the American Mapor*s Congress be rescinded; that the council. authorize ComnciLnan Anderson to attend the A.M.Ad Congress in Heaver on ~i©v, 29th t© Dec. 2nd with expenses paid as delegate From the Viiiage of Richfield. Carried. Budget I~earir~ ~.~ Current expense items recommended by manager were approved, P.13.R.A, contribution increased in coAformarsce with the change in law. . Capital otit].ap approved as the manager recommended with exception of de- leti®tt of lsam radios penes rap lights; adding dal,s~fa~~~d^~or',~h~~~f~~~et~:d~p~rt- ment. Salaries were discussed at some length with manager's proposed ~• increase being raaised to 5'7"e and ®ther proposals approved, The council stated that thep wasated no replacement of volunteer firemen ' who resign. In respect to revenues, the managers estimates were approved and the council expressed their desire that liquor store earnings .over and alb©ve that transferred t® finance village operati©ns be set aside for capital improvements.
