Mrs. Betty Lescher, president of the League of Women Voters of Richf feld read a request from the League for an extension of six months time in order for the League to study the proposal. Jack Reiter of the Long Range Planning Commission read a memo to the council objecting to the financing by bond issue, which memo was dated. August 20, 1959 and signed by four members of the commission. Tt was further suggested that meetings be held with various citizen groups, It was agreed that a meeting be scheduled for September 21, 1959 at 8.00 P.M. to meet with all service organizations on the matter of the proposed bond issue, 51.
