05-05-1959VILIAGE OF RICHFIELD Adjaurized Meeting May 5 ,. 1959 The council of the Village of Richfield met in the Village Ha11r Tuesday, Map 5,, 1959 at 7:04 P.M. which meeting had been postponed from the meeting of April 28„ 1959. Mayor Reldsen called the meeting to order. Present: Schultz, Wallick, Reidsen. Absent: Anderson Serstock. Anderson joined the meeting. After discussion the council authorized the manager to present the finally agreed upon stipulations of the proposed agreement on the hook-up of Bloomington to the sanitary sewer through Richfield's systes~ to the manager of Bloomington. Mayor to Convention Motion by Wallick,. seconded by Schultz,-that the council approve the mayor's attending the annual cornrention of the U. 9, Convention of Mayors in Los Angeles, Ca1if., July ~2 th to 15th. Carried. Discussion on Proposed Land Division A discussion was held an the request of the attorney for the Rasmussen greenhouse property at Portland and 73rd St« to reduce the proposed super market area from 133,.300 to 80,.000 sq« ft« It was agreed that the probable solution was to change the zoning to multiple residence exeept the area consisting of the row of houses facing on 5th Ave« It was the concensus of opinion that the installation of stop signs along 73rd 5t. should be accelerated.
