Robert Aldrich,. Executive Director of Metropolitan Airports Commission,
presented the Commissions understanding and reasons why they wished the council
to refuse this permit, pointing out that there should be no large concentra-
tion of people in the area such as churches, apartments, etc,
The attorney seated that because the property is zoned commercial„ the

council: is not obliged to permit residential. dwellings however,, if the council
felt it was a suitable area, they could grant the permit irrespective of an y
previous commitments.
