il. Pending Agreement -- Special Use Permit - Rae Property
Mayor Reldsen called for action on the pending agreement relative to the
special: use permit of Jamey Rae,. 901 Rae.Drive for a drive-in restaurant at
826 W. 66th St.,, which matter had been considered at the previous meeting.

The council suggested that a basketweave fence be installed on the west
side and a 4 ft. chain link fence on the south side. The manager, engineer and
police department were instructed to study and make recommendations as to the
type of fence and the location of entrances and exits. Carried..
The amended stipulations are to be presented at the next meeting for
action.
12. Bids - Insurance
Motion by Schultz, seconded by Anderson,, that the minutes of the bid-
opening on Insurance,. December 12,. 1958, be approved. Carried. G523~
A tabulation of bids for each type of insurance was presented by the mana-
ger together with his recommendation far award for each.
Motion by Anderson,, seconded by Schultz, that the council accept the bid

on Workmen's Compensation of Federated Mutual Ins. Co. at $8539«87 as recom-
mended by the manager. Carried..
Motion by Schultz,, seconded by Serstock„ that the council accept the bid
on fleet liability and property damage of Mutual Service Agency at $1547.05
as recommended by the manager.. Carried.
Motion by Serstock„ seconded by Schultz, that the bid of Little Insuran ce

of Mutual Service Agancq for a 3 year premium on money & securities: at $1318.16

Mayor Keldsen read a letter dated December 22, 1958 from Carl. E. McBride
representing the merchants in the vicinity of Lyndale & 6bth St. requesting
information on the construction of curbs and lighting in the general area of
66th St. and Lyndale Ave.

20. Letter re Speed on 66th St.
A letter was read dated December 22,. 1958 protesting the 35 mile speed
on 66th St. near [Voodlake School from Carl E. McBride.
Motion by Wallick,. seconded by Schultz' that the engineer and police de-
partment compile a report on the speed on 66th St.. near Woodlake School.
