Pursuant to action t aken at the meeting of September 15! 195.8. the
council met in adjourned session, Friday„ aeptember 19~, 5958 at 4:30 P,Mt

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Keidsen«
Present: Andersonr Schultz,, Serstock, Wallick and Keidsen.
B+ad~et Hearing
Discussions were held and confirmation was made on the proposed salaries;
and revenues for ].959.
The council authorized the installation of a teletype in the p~l.ice
department for weather forecasts,. subject to review next year; and that one
additional telephone line be installed in the fire department at $15..00 per
months
The councir approved. the adcH.tion of three men in the police department
with the suggestion that after vacation time and overtime has been cleared
up„ that •~tao-~m^.n cars be tried on the '+'dog shift''. It was ai so agreed that
the manager report on the progress of this procedure to the council on or
about April' 1,, 1959
The council expressed their desire that net earnings of•the liquor store
in 1959 be set aside for the purpose of establishing a so-called ""pay-gas-you-
go"" method of financing capitar improvements such as park, recreational and
other village improvements.
Motion by Schultz,. seconded by WaliickA that the meeting be adjourned.

Budget Hearing
Discussions were held and confirmation was made on the proposed salaries;
and revenues: far 1959.
The council authorized the installation of a teletype in the papiice
department for weather forecasts subject to review next year; and that one
additional telephone line be installed in the fire depastment at $15.00 per
months
The councils approved the addition of three men in the police department
with the suggestion that after vacation time and overtime has: been cleared

about April 1,, 1959.
