Motion by Schultz„-seconded by Serstock~, that the council award the contract for rock salt to the Butler Magnar Co. for a: total of $2490.00 as recommended by the manager since the low bidder could not make suitable de- livery. Carried. 14. Use of Land - Tree Service - 6340 Lyndale Ave. A letter was read from W. D. Birch„ attorney .for William P. Curtis„ 6340 Lyndale Ave.,, requesting consideration by the council of the use of land by William B. Curtis as a tree service. Wm. D.. Birch,, attorney,. appeared representing the owner,. Wm. P. Curtis, asking for clarification of the zoning ordinance for permit of C-2 area in question for tree service. Motion by Serstock that the council determine that tree service is 2n 1 proper C-2 classification provided the business is carried on within 20 building« Motion lost for the want of a second.
