Bingo Request -American Legion Post #435 Mayor Keidsen read a letter from the American Legion Post #43S dated March 14, 1958 requesting permission to plaq bingo on ane additional night per week for the remainder of 1958. Motion by Wa~,iick, seconded by Serstock,, that the American Legion Post i #435 be granted perm fission to play bingo in their clubrooms on Wednesday nights far the remainder of 1958 in addition to the game on Sunday night as was already granted.. After a discussion it was agreed that Councilman Serstock~ the manager, and Bert Storm investigate the matter further and re- port to the council. 10. Hearing Rezoning - 18th Ave. & ?6a St, It being 7:15 P,M.r Mayor geldsen called far the. hearing on the rezoning of property on 18th Ave. and T6~ St.. and read the notice of hearing. Russell E. LundquistF ?538 - l7th Ave.,, appeared as spokesman for a group of property owners-and presented a petition opposing the zoning con- taining 51 signatures. Mrs.. Carl J. Consideration of Change of Election Dates Mayor Keldsen presented the subject of the changing of local election dates. The council. discussed the advisability and feasibility of changing village election dates: to correspond with state election dates. It was tenta- tively decided to hold the village primary election on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November tNovember 4, 1958). The village general election would be held on the regular date, the first Tuesday after the first Monday in December (December 2r 1958). 30.
