Motion by Wallick, seconded by Schultze that the following resolution be
adopted; that it be spread in the resolution book and that it be made a part
of these minutes:

2. Annual Schedule of Pay. Ranges
The council discussed the annual. schedule of pap ranges aril certain in-
equities therein. The village manager presented two tabula:-ins of the pro-
posed adjustments of pay inequities in the police department and fire depart-
ment salary schedules.
Motion by Waliick,. seconded by Schuitz~ that the council authorize the
village manager to increase the 1958 budget by the amount of $32~'~6,00 to ef-
feet pay increasesfor certain members of the police department and fire de-
partment. Carried.

Co•, appeared before the council and presented a preliminary report and esti-
mate of cost on the proposed joint storm sewer project Village Project No.
348 (District No. 13) showing the percentage of cost to be paid by the
Minnesota Highway Department, Village of Bloomington and the Village of
Richfield.
The council determined without vote that the resolution ordering report
and the resolution accepting the preliminary report and setting date of hear-
ing be prepared for the next regular meeting.
