Adjourned Meting
September 17, 1957
Pursuant to action taken by the co~incil at the meeting of September
9~ 195?, they met in adjourned session in the council cheunbers of the
village hail, 6700 Portland Ave..,.. at 7:00 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Bitteli.
Present: Wallick~ Shields, Schultz and &itteli.
Absent: Serstock
1.' Proposed 1958 Budget
The council met to consider the proposed 1958 budget.
Motion by Wailick,.seconded by Shields, that the manager revise the
proposed budget as recommended by the council and to present it at a later
meeting. Carried.
2. Grading - 57th and 68th St.-Thomas & Upton Ave. Block
Motion by Shields, seconded by 1aa11ick, that the council authorize
the manager to proceed with the rental of equipment for grading purposes
in the block surrounded by 67th St.r 68th 5t., Thomas and Upton Avenues,
without a call for bids, the cost not to exceed $1000100. Carried«
