The meeting was called to order by the village manager who an- pounced that the purpose of the meeting was to receive, open and read aloud, sealed bids on the. reroofing of the Viilage Haii of Richfield as advertised in the official newspaper on September 13, 1956.. Motion by Waliick, seconded by Schultz, that the minutes of the bid- opening on a water distribution system for Christian Park be approved. Carried.. Gustafson Co. to install a water distribution system in Christian Park at a total cost of $3,45D.00 as recommended by the manager.. 1 Carried.. 19. Bids - Reroofing of Village Hail Mayor Rittell read minutes of the bid-opening of September 24, 1956 for the reroofing of the Village Hali. Motion by Wallick~ seconded by Schultz,. that the minutes of the bid- opening on re-roofing of the Village Hall be approved. Carried. C-4319 The manager presented a tabulation of the bids and his recommendation for award. Motion by Shields, seconded by Serstock,, that the council accept the low bid of Fred Biorn for a total sum of X1,965.00 to reroof the Villa ge Hall as recommended by the village manager.
