that the purpose of the meeting was to receive, open and read aloud seaXed
bids on insurance covering the stock in the munici~sal liquor stoics as adver-
tised in the official newspaper on June 28, 1956.

of the grade on their street.

manager and engineer to negotiate with Hennepin County Board for the correc-
ing
tion of street grad~f on Xexxes Avenue between 68th and 69th Streets inasmuch
as it has been designated as a State Aid Road. Carried.
20. Petition - Load Restrictions on 76th fit. between Penn and Xerxes
Michael Kampemeyer, 7614 Thomas Ave., appeared as spokesman for a group
of property owners, describing conditions / voiced objections of• the resi-
dents in the area to the truck traffic on their street.

direct the manager and engineer to. post a load limit of 5000 lbs. on 76th

Motion by Shields, seconded by Serstock, that the council suspend the
rules to hear a delegation of property owners from the area of New Pord
Town and Rich Acres.
