Proposed Improvement Highway Ira Karon, St.. Paul attorney representing property owners affected by the proposed improvement on Highway ~100~ appeared before the council and pre- sented a pe tition requesting a public hearing before any plans for Trunk Highway are approved. Motion by Wallick,~ seconded by Rose, that the petition containing 31 signatures presented by Ira Karon be accepted and filed, Carriedy Motion by Walli.ek,~ seconded by Rose, that the manager and. engineer ar- range a meetingt~ith the Bloomington Counci]~ and a representative of the 78th St,. property owners to discuss the proposed plans for Highway #100. Carried. 2s Electrical Ordinance ~. _. ~ Eugene 7~.ne~ 7333 Harriet eve., South, appeared before the council rela- - tine to the proposed electrical ordinance and spoke in opposition to the adop- tion of the l~i.nneapolis electrical ordinance and presented a copy of a model ordinanceQ. M., Mayor Kitten called for the public hearing on the rezoning to multiple dweZU.ng, the south side of 74th St. from Lyndale to „~ -- Pleasant, and read the notice of hearing: No persons appeared in opposition. Motion by Walters, seconded by Wallicks that the hearing be closed. Carried, 6. Motion by Walters, seconded by Wallick, that the engineer be requested to submit an informal report on establishing a grade of the alley between Washburn and Vincent from 64th to 65th Sts. Carried, 13. Drainage of Joss C. I~.eg Add.. & Edwin. F, Haeg Addb Motion by Walters, seconded by Wallick, that the problem of furnishing drainage to the Jos, Cp Haeg Add. and Edwin F. Haeg ~.dd. be deferred at this time. The council was again of the opinion that this matter should be deferred for further study. 15., Determination _ of Future 5tax~r- Sewer .~ssecsments The Village engineer presented a proposed method of determining equalized assessments for future stoa.^m sewer construction. ~ discussion followed. 16, . preliminary Plat - Petits s .4th Addition Motion by Walters, seconded by Wallick, that the council grant tentative approval to the preliminary plat of Petites 4th Addition and authorize the clerk to advertise a public hearing for Monday,, December 27, 195, at 8:00 P.. M.
